We’ve reorganized the navigation bar at the bottom of the app to make it easier to get to what you need. Gallery, Maps,  and Devices appear in the navigation bar. Tap the “...” to access more hunt planning tools, like Activity, Weather, and Game Plan.

Master the Wind with Moultrie Mobile’s Ideal Wind Feature 

With the new Ideal Wind feature in Moultrie Mobile Maps, planning your hunt just got smarter.  

Wind direction plays a crucial role in keeping your scent away from the deer, and this tool ensures you're always taking the best position. Now, you can set the ideal wind direction for each stand or blind, giving you real-time and forecasted wind conditions for up to seven days. Whether you're planning for the morning, midday, or evening, the Ideal Wind feature provides instant feedback on current wind directions, helping you choose the best spots to avoid being detected.  

Stay downwind, outsmart the deer, and make your hunts more successful with this powerful new addition to your hunting toolkit.   

Draw Lines and Areas for Enhanced Hunt Planning 

The new Lines and Areas feature in Maps allows you to customize your map to better plan your hunt and manage your land. 

Plan your entry and exit routes by drawing Lines. With lines, you can outline trails and paths, and measure the distance between key points, like shooting lanes or specific landmarks. You can also draw custom Areas to mark key regions like food plots or bedding areas, and calculate the overall size of these zones.

Get Better Insights with Activity

Activity has always helped you to analyze movement picked up by your cellular trail cameras – and it’s now more powerful than ever.  

Activity has a fresh new look and enhanced functionality, giving you even more control when analyzing activity in front of your camera. As before, you can see activity charts for time of day, temperature, and moon phase. Now, each graph includes a "Most Active" summary at the top, providing peak activity periods at-a-glance.  

Expanded filters allow you to narrow down sightings by specific date ranges, (new) time frames, Smart Tags, Gallery Albums, or cameras.  

You can drill down even further in the Activity table by selecting specific Smart Tags to focus on just those targets. Plus, now you can tap within the table and it will take you directly to the Gallery to view those images.   

These powerful upgrades to Activity make it easier than ever to see patterns in your trail camera photos - giving you more intel to plan your hunt.

Import Images: See All Your Trail Camera Photos In One Place  

With the new Image Import feature, you can now upload images from other trail cameras’ SD cards into your Moultrie Mobile account. If you are running non-cellular trail cameras, this is a great way to manage all your trail camera photos. 

Once uploaded, these images are automatically Smart Tagged and integrated into your Gallery, making it easier to analyze all your photos in one place.  You can organize imported images into albums, and they show up in Activity, too.  

This feature is perfect for hunters using traditional SD card cameras or multiple brands of cameras or both! Simply import your photos through the Moultrie Mobile website, and you’ll get automatic organization and intel – all in one place.

These new features are available in app version 5.2.0. To verify your current app version, open the Moultrie Mobile app, tap the menu, and go to Account > About.
